Qatar: We reject attacks on civilian facilities and critical infrastructure
Doha, May 4 (Hibya) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in Sudan’s Kassala and Port Sudan cities.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared a condemnation message regarding the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in Sudan’s Kassala and Port Sudan cities.
The message stated: “The State of Qatar strongly condemns the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in the Sudanese cities of Kassala and Port Sudan, considering these acts a violation of international law and norms, and a serious threat to regional security. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar reiterates its firm rejection of attacks on civilian facilities and critical infrastructure, and calls for joint efforts at regional and international levels to peacefully resolve the conflict. The Ministry also reaffirms its full support for Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and stability, and expresses full solidarity with the friendly and brotherly Sudanese people in their pursuit of development and prosperity.”
