According to a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the drone attack that targeted the airport and civilian infrastructure in Port Sudan on Sunday.

"He expressed concern over the continued attacks on urban civilian facilities, including power plants, hospitals, water treatment plants, and civilian airports, and called for an immediate end to attacks on innocent civilians. Highlighting the humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan marked by mass displacement and famine, the spokesman called on the international community and relevant organizations to fulfill their responsibilities and take action to end the conflict. He also stressed the importance of ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Sudan," the statement read.
