Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as part of the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

According to a Kremlin statement, the meeting was attended by a high-level Russian delegation, including Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak, Deputy Chiefs of the Presidential Executive Office Maksim Oreshkin and Dmitry Peskov, Presidential Advisor Yuriy Ushakov, Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilyov, and Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina.

Also present were Dmitry Shugayev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation; Anna Popova, Head of the Consumer Rights Protection Service; Igor Kostyukov, Head of the General Staff's Main Intelligence Directorate; Rosatom Director General Aleksey Likhachev; and Rosoboronexport Director General Aleksandr Mikheyev.
