It was reported that no humanitarian aid has entered Gaza for over 9 weeks
New York, May 9 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that humanitarian aid and supplies have not entered the Gaza Strip for more than 9 weeks.
In a statement regarding the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank, UNRWA indicated that humanitarian aid and supplies have not reached Gaza for over 9 weeks.
The statement also noted that on May 6, Israeli forces launched two attacks on a shelter converted from a UNRWA school in Gaza, killing at least 30 displaced people, including women and children.
"On May 1, two demolition orders were issued for a total of 106 homes in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps in the West Bank. On May 8, heavily armed Israeli forces entered three UNRWA schools in the Shu’fat Camp in occupied East Jerusalem to enforce illegal closure orders issued on April 8, 2025, forcibly removing more than 550 children from their schools."
