Czech Republic President Petr Pavel attended the event together with his wife Eva Pavel and delivered a message of support to patients battling cancer and healthcare workers.

Referring to the importance of solidarity, Pavel said, “Today Eva and I are participating in Czech Cancer Day. Every yellow flower purchased helps people receiving treatment for this disease and also supports the work of those caring for them.”

Pavel emphasized the importance of protecting personal health and preventive measures, stating, “In addition to helping others, let us not forget ourselves. Taking precautions is one of the simplest things we can do for our health.”
