Herzog: We paid a very heavy price for division in the past
Jerusalem, May 13 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog called for unity and solidarity, stating that internal division has become the greatest threat to the country.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog drew attention to the risks of polarization within society and the role of future generations in this process.
Referring to the public’s decision and the current situation, Herzog said, “The people of Israel have determined that the greatest threat to this country is division, which has reached very dangerous levels.”
Emphasizing historical lessons and a shared future, Herzog stated, “We paid a very heavy price for division in the past, and together with the young and talented generation present here, we can build a better future.”
Herzog concluded his remarks by saying, “So let us leave here with this commitment to a shared Israeli future.”
