Meloni shares message of gratitude on anniversary of Italian army
Rome, May 4 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed gratitude to the members of the Italian army in a message marking the 164th anniversary of its founding, thanking them for their courage, sacrifice, and dedication.
Meloni stated: "On behalf of myself and the Government, I extend my deepest gratitude to the men and women who serve Italy every day, both at home and in international missions. Their contribution to the security and defense of our nation is vital."
The Prime Minister also remembered those who lost their lives in service, saying: "Their example lives on in all our memories." She concluded her message by saying, "I thank each of you. Long live the Italian army."
