Lula: Education changes a family’s future
Brasilia, August 8 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said he was pleased to meet young people whose educational lives have changed thanks to the University for All Program (PROUNI).
Lula said that during his visit to the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), he met a young man named André who is studying engineering under PROUNI. Noting that, in addition to André, other young people in his family had also completed their education and earned degrees, Lula highlighted the program’s impact on families.
Lula said, “This is how education transforms lives and changes the future of an entire family.”
Emphasizing PROUNI’s contribution to young people’s access to higher education, Lula said that education changes the future not only of individuals but also of their families.
