Anand congratulates Bolivia’s new foreign minister Gutierrez
Ottawa, August 8 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand congratulated Hector Francisco Huanca Gutierrez on his appointment as Bolivia’s foreign minister and called for developing economic relations between the two countries.
In her message, Anand congratulated Gutierrez on his new role, saying, “Canada and Bolivia have 65 years of diplomatic relations.”
Noting that relations between the two countries should be further developed, Anand said, “I look forward to working with you to revitalize our economic relationship and advance our shared priorities in the Americas.”
Anand highlighted the 65-year history of diplomatic relations between Canada and Bolivia and said they were ready to work together in the new period on economic cooperation and shared priorities.
