Lazzarini: Humanity must prevail before we lose all moral compass
New York, May 7 (Hibya) – Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza: “Humanity must prevail before we lose all moral compass.”
Lazzarini said that death follows families in Gaza wherever they go.
He stressed that no place is safe and no one is spared.
He stated that another shelter converted from a UNRWA school was struck twice by Israeli forces yesterday:
“At least 30 displaced people, including women and children, were reported killed. The school housed 2,000 displaced people. Enough. Humanity must prevail before we lose all moral compass.”
