Iran and Turkey's Foreign Ministers hold phone conversation
Tehran, May 19 (Hibya) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi informed Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during a phone call about the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, as well as the recent meeting held between Iran and three European countries.
Iran’s Foreign Minister reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is non-negotiable and inalienable.
Araghchi emphasized that if the other parties show genuine political will and respect Iran’s legitimate rights under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Iran is ready to engage in constructive and beneficial interaction aimed at the full and effective lifting of sanctions.
