Herzog: They are bringing the hostages’ stories to the global agenda
Tel Aviv, October 6 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog hosted members of the “Coming Home Soon” initiative and the families of hostages at the President’s Residence.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog, during an event hosting members of the “Coming Home Soon” initiative and the families of hostages, highlighted the initiative’s three-year effort to bring the hostages’ stories to the center of the global agenda.
Herzog said more than 220 personal books, each dedicated to a hostage, had been written and collected as part of the initiative. He added that the project also includes artworks from different parts of the world as well as messages of support and hope.
Herzog said the initiative had been exhibited at events and in parliaments in 12 countries, noting that the project had evolved into an international initiative of solidarity and humanity.
Herzog thanked the project’s founder, Inbar Hasson, as well as those who contributed to the initiative, supported it and helped spread its work.
