COREPER approves working group for Montenegro’s EU membership
Podgorica, April 23 (Hibya) – The European Union’s Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) approved the establishment of a working group as an important step in Montenegro’s accession process to the European Union (EU).
According to a statement by the Government of Montenegro, COREPER approved the creation of a temporary working group to prepare Montenegro’s Accession Agreement to the European Union.
The statement said, “This step represents a critical advancement toward the final stage of the negotiation process.”
