Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the outcomes of diplomatic contacts in the United States, regional security risks, and strategic objectives.

Zelensky stated that the negotiation delegation reported the key points, opportunities, and challenges of the meetings in Florida, saying: “The most important task is to develop security guarantees that will bring us closer to ending the war. Security is the key to peace.”

Zelensky pointed out that while the reporting process was ongoing, Russia launched a new drone attack against Ukraine.

Referring to the effects of global tensions, Zelensky said: “Due to the war against Iran, the geopolitical situation has become even more complex, and unfortunately this encourages Russia.”

Zelensky argued that Russia continues its efforts to destabilize Europe, adding that Moscow prolongs the war in the region by providing intelligence support to the Iranian regime and is preparing for new conflicts.

Emphasizing the need to establish international security, Zelensky stated: “The constant threat of war on the map must be ended.”
