Zelensky: 11 people are being treated in hospitals in Dnipro
Kyiv, April 25 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to the scale of destruction and civilian casualties following large-scale missile and drone attacks by the Russian army on cities across the country, including Dnipro.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 11 people are receiving treatment in hospitals in Dnipro due to Russian attacks.
Referring to people trapped under the rubble, Zelensky said: “At present, following Russia’s attack on the city, 11 people are being treated in hospitals in Dnipro. Rescue operations are ongoing after an attack on a residential building. There may still be people trapped under the debris.”
Zelensky stated that the attacks spread across a wide area: “The Russians struck Dnipro and our other cities and settlements almost all night. As of now, more than 30 people have been reported injured across Ukraine. There are also casualties in the Chernihiv, Odesa and Kharkiv regions. Unfortunately, there are also fatalities.”
Zelensky concluded by emphasizing that Russia’s attack strategy targets civilians: “Russia’s tactics have not changed: attack drones, cruise missiles and a significant number of ballistic missiles. Most targets are civilian infrastructure in cities. Residential buildings, energy facilities and businesses have been damaged.”
