The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has announced that people in Gaza cannot find food to feed their families.

UNRWA’s statement included the following:

"The current food distribution conducted by the so-called ‘Gaza Humanitarian Aid Fund’, established through an Israeli-American partnership, is not working. During the ceasefire, the UN, including UNRWA, proved that safe and large-scale food provision across the Gaza Strip is possible. We have the system, expertise, and will to do this. However, Israeli authorities are preventing us from carrying out our duties. Lift the blockade."
