Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that at least eight people were killed in Russia's large-scale missile and drone attacks across the country during the night of July 30.
According to the ministry, Russia carried out air strikes on the regions of Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Ivano-Frankivsk using more than 70 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and over 280 attack drones.
As a result of the attacks, five members of the same family were killed after a house collapsed in the settlement of Radushne in the Dnipro region, while two children were rescued from the rubble. One person was also reported killed in each of the Kyiv and Poltava regions, while search and rescue operations continue in the ruins of a residential building struck in Lviv.
The statement also noted that delays in the supply of air defense ammunition have increased casualties and damage, drawing attention to the delivery process of anti-ballistic systems.
