Tsahkna: We discussed Ukraine and European security with the UK
London, October 7 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said he discussed support for Ukraine, European security and defense cooperation with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna met with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband in London.
Tsahkna said the meeting addressed support for Ukraine and Europe's overall security, as well as countering Russian sabotage activities, increasing pressure on Russia and achieving lasting peace.
Tsahkna said they also discussed strengthening close defense cooperation between the two countries, noting that British and Estonian troops serve together to defend NATO's eastern flank and preserve peace.
