Washington, August 25 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump commented on protests in Iran and payments to the country's military personnel, while also making remarks about changing the name of Lake Ontario.

Criticizing the Iranian administration, Trump said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is not paying a large part of its military. At the same time, it is killing protesters at unprecedented levels, even when they are not protesting." Trump described the situation in Iran as "a humanitarian crisis of enormous proportions" and said it must be stopped immediately.
Trump also said regarding relations with Canada's province of Ontario, "Since we no longer expect to do much business with Ontario, we are seriously considering changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America."
