Cooper: Cervical cancer is preventable
London, August 25 (Hibya) - UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said cervical cancer is preventable and announced that 4 million women who are behind on the screening programme will be offered free human papillomavirus (HPV) self-testing kits.

Stating that the initiative started today, Cooper said, "Cervical cancer is preventable." Cooper added that women who have experienced delays in accessing the screening programme will be offered free HPV self-testing kits.
Cooper said the initiative would make access to healthcare easier, adding, "The National Health Service (NHS) is making it easier to stay healthy and be there for all of us when we need it."
