Top Diplomats of Iran and Oman Meet in Muscat
Muscat, April 12 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi in the capital Muscat.
According to a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Araghchi traveled to Muscat heading a delegation to participate in indirect talks with the United States on nuclear issues and the lifting of sanctions, where he met with the Omani foreign minister.
During the meeting, Araghchi expressed satisfaction with the strong and long-standing relations between the two countries in all areas.
He praised Oman’s responsible approach to regional issues and developments, describing Oman’s hosting of indirect Iran-U.S. talks as a reflection of this approach.
Araghchi also thanked his Omani counterpart for the efforts made to facilitate the negotiations.
