Foreign Minister Sybiha announced that he met with Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset.

He emphasized that the main focus was on further steps to ensure accountability for Russian crimes and said, “We are grateful to the Council of Europe for its determined solidarity and leadership in joint efforts to hold Russia accountable for violations of international law.”

Sybiha highlighted that these efforts made it possible to establish the Register of Damages for Ukraine and, in the near future, a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. “Ensuring accountability is essential for achieving a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace,” he concluded.
