Qatar's UN Envoy Al-Thani Meets UN Special Envoy for Syria Pedersen
New York, April 12 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, met with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen.
The meeting was held at the Permanent Mission of Qatar in New York.
During the meeting, Qatar reaffirmed its firm stance in supporting the sovereignty, national unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, and emphasized the importance of supporting the Special Envoy’s efforts to fulfill the Syrian people’s aspirations for security and stability.
