Tajani: Western Balkans' EU integration must be a concrete goal
Rome, June 19 (Hibya) – Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos in Taormina.
The meeting addressed the future of the European Union, particularly the integration process of Western Balkan countries.
Tajani emphasized that the prospect of Western Balkans joining the European family must be supported with concrete steps. “A more united and stable Europe must be able to face shared challenges such as defense, economic security, and border control,” said Tajani, underlining that regional integration is important for both the EU and regional security.
