Iravani: Impunity for these actions would set an extremely negative precedent
New York, June 20 (Hibya) – Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, delivered a speech at the UN Security Council.
Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, delivered a speech at the UN Security Council.
In his speech, Iravani stated: "Israel could not have carried out such blatant aggression without the support of the United States of America. This complicity must be recorded in history. Turning a blind eye to these events would mean that the UN Security Council is failing to fulfill its fundamental duties and that the UN is not fulfilling its very purpose. Allowing these actions, which trample on international law, to go unpunished would set an extremely negative precedent."
