Tajani: Enlargement is essential for Europe's future
Rome, June 19 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani organized a meeting with the participation of European countries and EU candidate countries on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Messina and Taormina Conferences.
At the meeting, a political declaration reflecting a shared vision for the future of Europe was adopted. Tajani stated that the declaration supports an enlargement process aiming first at the Western Balkans, followed by Ukraine and Moldova joining the Union.
Tajani said, “A united Europe means a stronger Europe. This unity will be a driving force for peace, growth, and prosperity for our citizens and businesses.”
