Sybiha: Increasing pressure on the aggressor is an effective way to advance peace efforts
Kyiv, June 18 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Canada for new sanctions against Russia.
Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed his gratitude to Canada for the new sanctions imposed on Russia.
He stated that maximizing pressure on the aggressor is the most effective way to advance peace efforts: “We greatly value the efforts of Canada and our other allies to cut off the funding for Russia’s aggressive war.”
Sybiha thanked Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand for this step and for her hospitality in Kananaskis.
