Saar: We call on the Lebanese government to take meaningful steps against Hezbollah
Jerusalem, March 24 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar welcomed the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s decision to expel Iran’s ambassador from Lebanon, stating that the move is necessary for Lebanon’s sovereignty.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a statement regarding Lebanon’s diplomatic decisions and Iran’s influence in the region.
Describing the expulsion decision as a strategic necessity, Saar said: “I welcome the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s decision to expel the individual appointed as Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon.”
Saar characterized the move as a justified step against a state that violates Lebanon’s sovereignty and drags the country into war through Hezbollah.
Addressing the Lebanese government, Saar stated: “We call on the Lebanese government to take practical and meaningful steps against Hezbollah, whose ministers are still serving in the government.”
