Rubio: Iran’s attacks against Bahrain are unacceptable
Washington, June 25 (Hibya) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he met with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reaffirming the bilateral partnership and regional security cooperation.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that he held talks with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and discussed the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Rubio said, “We met with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and reaffirmed our enduring partnership and our commitment to Bahrain’s security.”
Highlighting regional stability, Rubio stated, “We are united in supporting regional stability, a free and open Strait of Hormuz, and preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”
Sending a message to Iran, Rubio added, “Iran’s attacks against Bahrain are unacceptable, and the United States stands with the people and the government of Bahrain.”
