Qatar and Syria discuss bilateral cooperation
Doha, August 29 (Hibya) - Qatar's Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi and Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani discussed cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi held a telephone conversation with Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani.
According to a statement issued by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to further develop it.
The latest developments in Syria and the region, as well as various issues of common interest, were also reviewed during the conversation.
During the conversation, Al Khulaifi emphasized Qatar's full support for Syria's sovereignty and unity, as well as for the Syrian people's aspirations for stability, development and prosperity.
