Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif meets Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi
Islamabad, April 13 (Hibya) - Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed regional developments and bilateral relations in a phone call with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
Sharif described his phone call with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi as “very warm and productive.”
During the conversation, Sharif thanked Japan for its support for Pakistan’s efforts in the U.S.-Iran ceasefire process as well as in diplomatic engagements in Islamabad.
Emphasizing Pakistan’s determination to strengthen peace and stability, Sharif said, “Pakistan is committed to maintaining this momentum for peace and stability.”
It was reported that both sides agreed to further enhance Pakistan-Japan cooperation and continue their contacts.
