Merz: Iran must quickly negotiate an agreement on its nuclear program
Berlin, June 18 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Iran needs to negotiate an agreement that addresses serious concerns about its nuclear program.
Chancellor Merz expressed his support for the intensive efforts by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, alongside his counterparts from France and the United Kingdom, regarding Iran.
He added that these efforts are being coordinated with the United States, stating: “Iran must quickly negotiate an agreement that resolves the serious concerns about its nuclear program. We want to make our diplomatic contribution to this process.”
