Kos: 250 political prisoners released in Belarus
Brussels, March 20 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated that 250 political prisoners have been released in Belarus, but many people are still in prison.
EU Enlargement Commissioner Kos announced that yesterday 250 political prisoners were released in Belarus and reunited with their families.
Drawing attention to those still in prison, Kos said: “The European Union will continue to call for the release of all and for an end to repression.”
