Moscow, March 20 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the call, Putin congratulated Tokayev on the successful outcome of the referendum on the country’s new Constitution, noting that the voting results demonstrate public confidence in the dynamic socio-economic development policies pursued by Kazakhstan’s president.
The two leaders reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Russia and Kazakhstan.
The discussion also covered the schedule of contacts planned within the framework of Kazakhstan’s presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union.
