According to a statement from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakaev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Akbar Jowkar.

The diplomats exchanged views on the current state and future of Kazakhstan-Iran cooperation, confirming their commitment to implementing previously reached agreements.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on trade, economic, transport, and logistics cooperation, as well as the importance of maintaining regular dialogue at all levels.

Current issues on the regional and international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East, were also discussed.
