Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Israeli government approved a plan to combat criminal organizations in the Arab community, prepared under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Social Equality Minister May Golan, and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Under the plan, the Israel Security Agency (ISA) will be involved in efforts to combat organized crime in the Arab community. Approximately 497 million shekels from the resources of the 550 Five-Year Plan will be allocated to support these efforts.

Approximately 364.5 million shekels of the budget will be allocated to the ISA to establish a special unit to combat smuggling and arms trafficking and to strengthen intelligence and operational capabilities.

Approximately 132.4 million shekels will be transferred to the Israel Police to establish a national unit to combat crime in the Arab community, develop technological systems, and procure operational equipment.

The plan also provides for the allocation of 130 new personnel positions to the ISA starting in 2026, along with permanent annual budget support of 35 million shekels.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that crime in the Arab community has become "a national problem" and said that involving the ISA is an important step in the fight against criminal organizations.

Netanyahu added that the ISA's intelligence, operational, and technological capabilities would be utilized together with the Israel Police and other security agencies, while operations targeting the leaders and infrastructure of criminal organizations would be intensified.

The Prime Minister also stressed that Israel would not allow violence, threats, and murders to continue in the country and would act decisively against criminal organizations.
