Finnish President Stubb meets Iranian President Pezeshkian
Helsinki, April 2 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb called for a ceasefire and a diplomatic solution in the region during his meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Finnish President Stubb held a meeting with Iranian President Pezeshkian. Developments in Iran and the Middle East were discussed during the meeting.
Stubb stated, “A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution must be achieved quickly,” emphasizing the need to end attacks on neighboring countries and to restore maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
The president also highlighted the importance of maintaining dialogue despite differences between the parties.
