Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Saidov discussed enhancing cooperation between the two countries during his phone call with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and shared wishes for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development in the Islamic world.

Saidov stated that views were exchanged on further advancing the growing partnership between the two countries, saying: "We also held detailed discussions on the situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the necessity of ensuring peace and stability in the region and resolving all issues through political and diplomatic means."
