Zelensky discusses Middle East security with Saudi Crown Prince Salman
Kyiv, March 7 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the security situation in the Middle East and the Gulf, as well as cooperation against the Iranian threat, with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Ukrainian President Zelensky held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. During the call, they discussed the current security situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region, the challenges faced, and threats stemming from the Iranian regime.
Zelensky stated that Ukrainians have been fighting “Shahed” drones for years and that no other country in the world has such experience. He said Ukraine is ready to offer assistance and expects its own citizens to receive the necessary support. Emphasizing that protecting lives should be a shared priority, Zelensky noted that security coordination is of great importance both in Europe and the Middle East.
The two leaders also discussed deepening bilateral cooperation and developing joint projects. Zelensky stated that efforts to strengthen this cooperation will continue.
