Wadephul: Safe navigation in Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb is essential for global trade
Berlin, September 19 (Hibya) – German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said he discussed with Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi the steps that could be taken to improve the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul held talks with Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.
Commenting on the talks, Wadephul said: “We discussed ways to improve the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.”
Highlighting the importance of safe and free navigation for global trade and regional stability, Wadephul said: “Ensuring free and safe navigation is vital for global trade and regional stability.”
Wadephul said Germany appreciates Oman’s active role in resolving the current impasse.
