Uzbekistan calls for cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the pharmaceutical sector
Tashkent, May 3 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that important contacts were held during his visit to Saudi Arabia to enhance cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, commenting on the meeting with Sudair Pharma CEO Yaser Ibrahim al-Obaida, said: “We discussed cooperation opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector and issues related to the localization of production.” It was also noted that the potential of the Uzbek market was discussed during the meeting.
Minister Saidov also emphasized that they invited the company to invest in the country, stating: “We invited the company to explore the opportunities of the Uzbek market and to participate in the upcoming 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum. We believe we can achieve mutually beneficial results.”
