The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.19 percent, reaching 52,475.10 points. The S&P 500 index rose 0.28 percent to 7,743.98 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 0.27 percent to 26,549.851 points. The Nasdaq 100 index gained 0.55 percent, reaching 29,813.157 points.
The Russell 2000 index also rose 0.1 percent to 2,830.509 points.
