UNRWA: Thousands of UNRWA trucks ready at Gaza entry
New York, May 11 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has announced that humanitarian aid is waiting at the entry to Gaza.
UNRWA stated that the blockade on Gaza has lasted more than 9 weeks and that the Israeli government has prohibited the entry of all humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and commercial goods.
In its statement, UNRWA said: "The longer this blockade continues, the more irreversible harm is done to countless lives. Thousands of UNRWA trucks are ready to enter, and our teams in Gaza are prepared to scale up aid delivery."
