Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a message on the occasion of the Armed Forces’ Communications and Cybersecurity Forces Day. The ministry praised the work of the women and men who ensure reliable communications within the Armed Forces and protect the country’s security in cyberspace.

The statement noted that reliable communications are one of the fundamental elements of coordinated and effective operations under wartime conditions. Communications specialists ensure that orders reach units and that information is protected, while cybersecurity forces counter cyberattacks, protect critical infrastructure and secure the communications infrastructure of the defense system.

The ministry thanked the personnel who continue to carry out their duties for their professionalism and resilience, while also commemorating the soldiers who lost their lives defending Ukraine.
