Tsahkna: We stand in solidarity with the brave people of Ukraine
Tallinn, February 20 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made a statement on the occasion of the Day of Dignity Revolution in Ukraine.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna delivered a message of support to the people of Ukraine on the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.
Emphasizing the universal dimension of Ukraine’s struggle for dignity and freedom, Tsahkna said, “Today, on Ukraine’s Day of the Revolution of Dignity, we stand in solidarity with the brave people of Ukraine. Since the days of the Revolution of Dignity, this has not been just a date, but an ongoing struggle. A struggle for dignity, for freedom, for the right to choose their own future.”
Minister Tsahkna stated that Ukraine’s defense is not merely a local issue, saying, “The people of Ukraine are not only defending their land. They are defending the values that unite us all: freedom, self-determination, democracy. It is the same struggle.”
Tsahkna concluded his statement by saying, “Their courage reminds the world that freedom is never given; rather, it is defended, protected and carried forward by those who refuse to give up.”
