Sybiha: We have identified Russia's propaganda campaign across Europe
Kyiv, July 31 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that a Russian propaganda campaign aimed at spreading fear and instability across Europe by using images from Ceuta has been identified.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha drew attention to Russia's propaganda activities aimed at creating instability in European countries and shared assessments regarding the number of identified publications and measures to prevent this campaign.
Sharing details of the identified publications, Sybiha said: "More than 1,500 publications were made by media outlets identified by analysts as a pro-Russian network led by Pravda and RT. Pravda Spanish published around 300 of them. RT's editions in all languages published more than 25 reports on the subject."
Drawing attention to Moscow's strategy, Sybiha stated: "For years, Moscow has used migration and other sensitive issues to fuel fear and destabilize European countries. This is not about the issue itself, but about the way Russia exploits any topic that can serve its own agenda."
Sybiha concluded his remarks by saying: "The only way to protect the public from this interference is to stop it."
