Sybiha: Pressure on Russia will increase further
Kyiv, September 19 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that the entry into force of the law signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which includes sanctions against Russia and Iran, will increase pressure on Russia.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said in a statement that U.S. President Donald Trump's signing and enactment of the Lindsey O. Graham Russia and Iran Sanctions Act would strengthen pressure on Russia and on those supporting the continuation of the war.
Sybiha said the law would further isolate Russia and reduce the resources used to finance the war, noting that it was passed with broad bipartisan support in both chambers of the U.S. Congress.
Sybiha stated that they appreciate the bipartisan support of the United States for Ukraine and that they also expect strong steps against Russia from their European Union partners and other G7 countries. He noted that international pressure should be increased in a coordinated manner to push Moscow to end the war.
