Sybiha: Civil aviation safety should be a shared responsibility
Kyiv, September 18 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that the International Civil Aviation Organization had responded to Ukraine's letter regarding operations in Russian airspace.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said in a statement that the International Civil Aviation Organization had responded to Ukraine's appeal and conveyed its view to member states regarding the risks posed by activities in Russian airspace.
Sybiha said that protecting civil aviation and ensuring airspace safety should be a shared responsibility, adding that international airlines, insurers and other aviation companies should take into account the threats posed by operations in Russia.
