Sandu: We want to turn Moldova-Bavaria relations into investment and jobs
Chisinau, July 31 (Hibya) – Moldovan President Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of strengthening economic cooperation and the support for Moldova's European Union path following her meeting with Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu made statements following her meeting with Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder in the capital, Chisinau.
In a post on social media, Sandu said, “We had productive discussions with Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder in Chisinau.”
Stressing that they aim to transform the strong relationship between Moldova and Bavaria into economic opportunities, Sandu said, “Our goal is to turn our strong relationship into investment and jobs. We will begin by establishing a joint commission on economic cooperation.”
Sandu also thanked Bavaria for its support for Moldova’s European Union path, saying, “I am deeply grateful for Bavaria’s support.”
The meeting focused on developing economic relations between Moldova and Bavaria and expanding areas of bilateral cooperation.
