Sandu: Russian drones violated Moldova’s airspace
Chisinau, May 14 (Hibya) - Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced that intense drone attacks against Ukraine have been ongoing since midnight and that Moldova’s airspace was violated. Sandu called for continued pressure on Russia.
Moldovan President Sandu made statements regarding the latest attacks against Ukraine and the security situation in the region.
Sandu stated that one of the longest and largest attacks against Ukraine had been carried out since midnight using 1,560 drones.
In her statement, Sandu also said that Moldova’s airspace had been violated and pointed to the increasing security risk in the region.
Sandu claimed that Russia had no intention of ending the war and said the attacks were continuing, emphasizing that the international community should not reduce pressure on Russia.
